U.S. Kitchen and Bath Sales Grow Higher in June
U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in June were 14.0% higher than the comparable month in 2020 and grew 6.1% from May, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business member survey. June RV Shipments Continue to Break Records
The RV Industry Association’s monthly survey of U.S. manufacturers reported that shipments reached a record high for June at 50,706 units, rising 25.3% over the comparable month in 2020 and 7% higher than the previous record in 2017. Second quarter shipments were also the highest on record for any quarter. The year-to-date total was 300,267

U.S. Housing Starts Increase in June
U.S. housing starts in June were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.64 million, rising 6.3% above the revised May estimate and 29.1% higher than the comparable month in 2020. Single-family housing starts increased 6.3% from May to 1.16 million. U.S. building permits in June were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.60
July U.S. Builder Confidence Dips
U.S. builder confidence for new single-family homes in July fell 1 point from June to 80, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI). The HMI component gauging current sales conditions dropped 1 point to 86 and the measurement of sales expectations in the next six months rose 2 points
