Canadian Housing Starts Increase in September

The standalone monthly seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of Canadian housing starts in September was 214,647 units, up 1.0% from August. U.S. remodeling confidence in the third quarter rose 9 points from the previous three months to 82, according to the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Remodeling Market Index (RMI).
