Stevens Industries, Teutopolis, IL, has promoted Jeff Niebrugge to Director of Sales, Panels and Components Division. Niebrugge has been with Stevens for 38 years and was most recently Regional Sales Manager. See Stevens
January U.S. Construction Spending Increases
U.S. construction spending in January was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.68 trillion, up 1.3% from December 2021 and an 8.2% increase over the year prior. U.S. Consumer Confidence Falls Again in February
U.S. consumer confidence in February registered at 110.5, dipping 0.6 points from a revised January score, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index. The index measuring current business and labor market conditions, rose 0.6 points from January to 145.1. The short-term outlook for income, business and the labor market decreased 1.3 points in February
